Troop 707 is based in Santa Rosa, CA and is chartered by the Parents of Troop 707. The troop is in the Pomo District and the Redwood Empire Council. Outings

Outings are activities that can be one day, overnight or multi-night. These activities, typically done on weekends, take place outside of the normal troop meetings. These include hikes, bike trips, campouts, trips to special sites, (such as the USS Hornet and Fort Ross), rafting, skiing, rock climbing, etc. Our outings are varied and frequent, at least once a month. Scouts learn many skills on these trips and enjoy experiences they will remember forever.

Troop Meetings

Troop meetings take place every Tuesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 at Cardinal Newman in Santa Rosa. Troop meetings consist of patrol activities, troop instruction and practice in scout skills for rank advancement. Games of scout skills, fun merit badge classes and preparation for outings also take place during weekly meetings.

Community Service

Community service is an integral part of the Boy Scout program. Troop 707 Scouts perform community service projects throughout the year. The troop recently installed a new walkway at Ursuline High School. Assisting with Eagle Scout service projects are another way that Scouts provide service to the community.
